The British Academy is supporting a project at the University of Edinburgh focused on writing about mixed-race experiences in Brazil and South Africa, with the aim of critically examining racial discourse. This project, "Writing Mixed-race into Critical Race Discourse: Learnings from Brazil and South Africa," involves early-career researchers, editors, and scholars, and will culminate in a writing workshop. The project is led by Dr. Katucha Bento, along with Dr. Tana Forrest and Edinéia Tavares Lopes
